Seating zones

Are you thinking about your reception style yet? When it’s time to think about wedding tables you might find yourself in the middle of the age-old debate between long tables and rounds.

Some believe that round tables are better for conversation, while others think that it’s easier to chat to more people at long tables.

But let’s skip the process of getting out the measuring tape or estimating the distance between your wedding guests on either tables… I’ve got a much better idea!

Let’s take a cue from our trendsetting friends overseas and mix things up a bit!

By combining different table sizes and shapes, you can give your reception a unique and eclectic look that’s sure to impress your guests!

Picture a bridal table stretching across the length of the room, surrounded by cozy six-seaters and gracious ten-seaters in round and long tables. Add in some chic cocktail tables and comfy chill zones, and voila – you’ve got a seating plan that’s flexible enough to accommodate everyone’s preferences!

It’s always difficult to please everyone, and this approach allows for different dining experiences among your guests. There are those who prefer to sit down and enjoy their meals without having to precariously balance a drink in one hand and a plate in the other (let’s be honest – we’ve all been there).

And then there are those who prefer to perch on a stool and chat with their neighbors, free to mingle and socialise as they please.

We have heaps of options in tables, chairs, bar stools and lounges!

The beauty of this approach is that it’s versatile and oh-so-stylish. Plus, it’s guaranteed to make sure everyone feels like they’ve got a seat at the table that’s tailored just for them. After all, your big day is all about celebrating your love surrounded by your nearest and dearest.

So, don’t be afraid to think outside the box and create a seating plan that’s as unique as you are.

Don’t stress about the round vs. long table debate! Let’s mix it up a bit and create a seating plan that’s uniquely yours, offering both style and function to ensure your guests are comfortable and happy.

After all, your special day should be a celebration, not a logistical nightmare.

With a mix of table shapes and sizes, you’ll be able to offer both options to your guests and ensure everyone is as happy as can be (or happy as a wedding guest is with a full belly and a drink in hand).

We know that weddings can bring together a diverse crowd of loved ones, some of whom may be closer to you than others, some guests know alot of others, some guests just a few. This type of seating plan can be tailored to accommodate different sized friend or family circles with ease.

Grouping your guests based on their social circles (we’re talking college friends, work colleagues, and family members) is so much easier when you can mix up the table sizes. If one circle is bigger than the others, don’t stress – just pop them on a larger table.
