Often overlooked wedding necessities

Wedding planning can feel overwhelming with all the decisions and options you have, but don’t worry—I’m here to help!

Let’s make sure your big day goes off without a hitch. Here are some commonly overlooked items.

Signing table and chairs

First things first, let’s talk about the signing table and chairs. This is where you and your partner will pen your love-filled commitment and the photographer will be snapping away, so make it picture perfect! Think about a beautiful tablecloth or linen runner, some stylish chairs, and perhaps even a couple of meaningful decorations to really set the mood. Trust me, these little details will make those signatures feel even more magical.

Cake knife and server

Ah, the cake cutting ceremony. It’s one of the many highlights of the wedding reception, and you want to make sure you’ve got the right tools for the job. Cue the entrance of the fabulous cake knife and server! So much nicer than user a butter knife, or getting the chef to send out his carving knife for the job!

*Special tip – buy a really nice cake and server set and you’ll have one to keep forever. Who knows it might become a family heirloom with generations passing it down to cut their own wedding cakes, birthday cakes and all special occasions!

Parent flowers

Speaking of generations, let’s not forget about your parents. Appreciate their love and support by giving them boutonnieres and corsages to make them feel part of the VIP group.

Trust me, those flowers will speak volumes and bring an extra glow to their faces. It’s a small gesture that will make a big impact on their hearts.

Good lighting

Let there be light! No, seriously, let’s not underestimate the power of good lighting. Nobody wants their guests to stumble around like they’re in a dark maze. So, let’s make sure your wedding venue is well-lit, especially those tricky spots like the bathroom. Nobody should have to hunt for the loo like it’s a secret treasure hunt. Keep the mood bright and delightful!

Guest book pens

And last but certainly not least, the guestbook pens. You’ll want to provide enough pens for all your cherished guests to leave their heartfelt messages. So, stock up on those writing tools, my friend, and let the words flow like a river of love.

By checking off these essentials, you’ll ensure that your wedding day is a masterpiece, carefully crafted with love and attention to detail. Trust the process, let the magic unfold, and get ready to create memories that will stand the test of time. Happy planning, lovebirds!
